Private Tea Ceremony in an Authentic Tea Room at a Local Home

Socks are required when entering the tea room.

Bare feet are not permitted.

Socks are available for purchase if needed.

Wear comfortable long pants or a long skirt suitable for sitting on tatami mats.

Shorts and short skirts are not permitted.

Chairs and cushions are available upon request.

You are welcome to take photos during the lesson.

Video recording is not permitted during the instructor’s demonstration.

Avoid wearing perfume or strongly scented products.

Class fees may vary during peak travel seasons.

Guests must be able to communicate in English or Japanese.

Translation apps and interpreters cannot be used during the experience.

Kimono rental is not part of this experience.

Please inform the operator in advance of any allergies, religious or health restrictions, or special accommodation requests.

Arriving more than 15 minutes late will be treated as a no-show.

Participants must be at least 13 years old.

Children aged 12 and under are not permitted to join, and no refunds will be issued if they arrive without prior approval.

The experience may be canceled due to severe weather or transportation disruptions.

Participants are responsible for their own safety and personal belongings during the experience.

The session takes place in a traditional setting, so respectful and quiet behavior is appreciated throughout.
