→ Shinki Green Bus (Bound for Sasayama Eigyosho / 15 min) → Sasayama Castle Town (Sasayama Jokamachi) (Walk 5 min)
From Tambasashiyama Castle Ruins
→ Walk north-east (approx. 5 min) from the castle's outer moat area

・Footwear:
Comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Shoes must be removed when entering the historic villa buildings. The outdoor courtyard paths feature traditional stepping stones and gravel.
・Clothing:
Casual, neat attire. Since you will be stepping up into preserved historical wooden structures, comfortable clothing that allows easy movement is ideal.

・Parking:
No dedicated free parking directly at the village. Use nearby municipal paid parking lots, such as the Otemae Parking Lot or Sannomaru Parking Lot, located just a short walk away.
・Restrooms:
Available inside the facility grounds for visitors. Well-maintained.
・Accessibility:
The courtyard paths are partially accessible but have uneven surfaces like gravel and stones. The historical buildings and exhibition rooms feature traditional high steps, narrow doorways, and tatami mats, making them wheelchair inaccessible.

Castle Street, offering various restaurants serving Tamba black bean sweets, botan nabe (wild boar hot pot), and local safe cafe options.
・Stay:
Renovated historic Kominka (old folk house) hotels and traditional ryokans are located within the surrounding castle town. Standard business hotels are located around JR Sasayamaguchi Station.

JR 篠山口駅 より
→ 神姫グリーンバス（篠山営業所行・15分）→ 篠山城下町（下車後徒歩5分）
※「大手前」バス停も利用可能だが、主要路線が必ず停車する「篠山城下町」からのアクセスが最も確実。
丹波篠山城跡 より
→ 外堀の北東方向へ徒歩（約5分）

※閉館時間が16:30（受付16:00まで）となるため、夕方の訪問時は注意が必要。

歩きやすい靴が推奨。歴史 velvet（旧丹波篠山藩主青山家の別邸）の内部に入る際は靴を脱ぐ必要がある。庭園内は飛び石や砂利が敷かれている。

動きやすいカジュアルな服装。保存された古い木造建築の段差を上り下りするため、足元の動かしやすい服が理想。

・駐車場:
施設専用の無料駐車場はなし。周辺にある「大手前駐車場」や「三の丸駐車場」などの市営有料駐車場を利用して徒歩でのアクセスとなる。
・トイレ:
敷地内に敷設されており、来館者が利用可能。綺麗に管理されている。
・バリアフリー:
庭園内には砂利や石畳があり、一部段差が存在する。展示館や歴史的建造物の内部は、昔ながらの鴨居や高い段差、畳敷きがあるため車椅子での進入は不可。

城下町のメインストリーに近く、特産の黒豆を使ったスイーツ、ぼたん鍋、ご当地牛を扱う飲食店やカフェが多数集まる。

周辺の城下町エリアに古民家をリノベーションした趣のある高級宿や宿泊施設が点在。一般的なビジネスホテルはJR篠山口駅周辺にあり。
