Early April for cherry blossoms and November for autumn foliage are peak seasons. The temple offers evening illuminations during these periods. The site is open year-round.
Take a local bus from JR Yamaguchi Station to Kencho-mae stop, then walk 10 minutes. A taxi takes 8 minutes. The temple is 2 kilometers northwest of the station.
The pagoda is not open to the public and can only be viewed from the outside. Visitors can walk around the grounds to photograph and appreciate the structure from different angles.
Most visitors spend 30 to 60 minutes exploring the temple grounds, viewing the pagoda, and walking through the gardens. This allows sufficient time to see the main attractions without rushing.
