"Sapporo City Clock Tower" is one of the representative tourist attractions of Sapporo. It is a beautiful historical building that stands between the buildings in the street. The Sapporo Clock Tower is now a museum and an event venue for the Sapporo Agricultural School. The architectural space is divided into exhibition rooms and other multi-functional areas, walking from Sapporo Station Coming here, it took about ten minutes. Tickets can be purchased to visit the clock tower. It contains relevant historical information and introductions about the timepiece. When the clock tower was first opened, the clock was manually pulled by a rope to ring the clock, but there will be time errors due to manual operation. It was unable to tell the time accurately, and later switched to clocks. Swing clocks were set up on the four sides above the roof of the bell tower. There will be a clear and loud ringing of the clock every hour on the hour. The bell has been ringing for more than 120 years.
「札幌市鐘樓」是札幌代表的觀光勝地之一。是一棟聳立在街道中大樓之間的美麗歷史建築物，札幌市鐘樓現在是一間博物館，也是札幌農學校的活動場地，建築空間則分割為展覽室和其他多功能區域，從札幌車站走路過來，大約十多分鐘，還沒抵達時，遠遠的就看見札幌時計台的身影。冬天的札幌時計台改上了一層白雪，好像是聖誕節薑餅屋上的糖霜一般，超可愛！
位於熱鬧市中心的札幌市鐘樓，是北海道至今少數保存的美式建築，為日本在19世紀引進西方教育和北海道在開墾時期的象徵，市鐘樓的鐘聲甚至還被日本環境廳評選為「日本音樂風景百選」。
鐘樓是可以購票入內參觀的，裡面是有關時計台的相關歷史資料及介紹，鐘樓在剛開始啟用的時候是由人工拉繩索敲鐘報時，但因人工操作會有時間上的誤差，無法準確報時，後來才改用時鐘，在鐘樓屋頂上方的四面設置了擺動式的時鐘，每逢整點的時候會有清澈響亮的報時鐘聲，鐘聲鳴響已經持續超過120年了！
