Rabbit Island (Ōkunoshima) & Takehara Historic Town Day Tour from Hiroshima

This tour involves several hours of walking outdoors. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and suitable clothing.

The weather can change throughout the day. An umbrella or raincoat is advised regardless of the forecast.

In summer, temperatures can exceed 32°C (90°F) with high humidity. Wear light clothing and take precautions against heatstroke (e.g., sunblock, hat, water).

In winter, temperatures range from approximately 1°C to 10°C (34°F–50°F). Please dress warmly with appropriate footwear.

Guests may bring their own fresh produce to feed the rabbits on Ōkunoshima in addition to the included rabbit food.

Additional rabbit food bags can be purchased at Tadanoumi Port before boarding the ferry.

Coin lockers are available at Hiroshima Station for guests who wish to store luggage before the tour.

Guests must return to designated meeting points at the times communicated by their guide.

Onward travel from Hiroshima should not be booked before 18:15 due to possible delays with public transport.
