If you want one heck of a taiko class, this is it. Eva was an excellent instructor and explained all the different rhythms, drums and had us perform in a 90 minute class.
It was a great workout as you’re constantly moving and learning. We all performed together and at no point did anybody feel embarrassed.
She speaks fluent English and her experience shows in her teaching.
Make sure to bring water as it is a bit of an exercise. I felt like I learned a lot about the art of Taiko and wish I brought friends.

We had a lot of fun and learned a lot. Eva was a very encouraging and patient teacher. We were a group of total beginners and it was a great little taste of Japanese culture.
