Totally worth the cost! The guide terry was terrific! Very knowledgeable about the history of the area and was a great help. Very good English. The pace was steady and was a welcoming atmosphere. Amazing views of Kyoto from the mountain side. 10/10 recommend to get a feel for the area and see some iconic sights. I traveled solo and didn't feel lonely at all.

Teri shared interesting information about the various places we visited on the tour including the famous bamboo grove and temples. I enjoyed learning more about Japanese culture from her. The monkey park was the worth the hike to see the unique Japanese monkeys. This tour was an excellent value for the money.
