Explore the famous Todaiji Temple at your own pace. Inside, see the enormous bronze Buddha statue and, if you like, try squeezing through a hole in one of the pillars for good luck. Learn about the temple’s long history and cultural importance.

Visit the historic Kikuichi knife shop, once known for making samurai swords. Get an introduction to Japanese knives and their craftsmanship. If you're interested, you can ask for advice on choosing a knife.

Walk through the peaceful Kasuga Taisha Shrine, famous for its stone lanterns and beautiful setting. Learn about its deep connection to nature and the Shinto religion. You will also have a chance to make a wish at the shrine.

Take a walk through Nara Park and enjoy seeing the friendly deer that freely roam around. Feed them special deer crackers provided during the tour and take photos in the beautiful surroundings.

Enjoy some free time to have lunch at Higashimuki Shopping Street, where you can find many local food options. Meet your guide again at the set meeting point after your meal. Lunch is not included in the tour.

Origami and Calligraphy: Try hands-on cultural activities like origami and calligraphy. Fold a paper deer and learn how to write your name in Japanese characters. These make great souvenirs to take home.
(Optional) Kimono and Costume Photoshoot: If time allows, you can dress up in a Kimono or other fun costumes and take photos to create lasting memories of your visit.

Visit Gangoji Temple, one of Nara's oldest temples. Hear the fascinating and spooky story about the temple’s demon. Enjoy free time to explore and take in the temple’s historic charm.

Relax in a quiet Japanese café and enjoy a traditional tea ceremony led by a tea master. Experience freshly prepared matcha tea served with a handmade Japanese sweet.

The tour ends back at the fountain near Kintetsu Nara Station. Your guide will assist with any travel directions for your return to Osaka or Kyoto.
