Highly recommend for a once in a lifetime experience
This might have been one of the best experiences I have had. You feel a little odd to begin with as you wait outside a random house in a back road in the middle of Koto City, and you are only sure you are in the right place because of the sign! But once the door is open you are greeted by the most amazing group of ladies who are excited to have you join in the Kimono adventure.
Would love to return for another kimono on next Japan trip!
Had fun with making my own kimono with Akira! She spoke Japanese and English, also a little Korean. I went by myself and there was one other person that joined the session. I was able to buy the exact accessories after making the kimono that I used for the photo session.
