Great experience making easy to wear kimono
This workshop was a lot of fun. They have many pre loved kimonos to choose from, both women's and men's. The kimono is included in the workshop fee but if you prefer a more fancy one, you have to pay a little extra. For the women, you cut the kimono in half to make a skirt and jacket. The men print their name on the front. They have all the accessories available (obi etc) to use for photos or to purchase.
Finding our way to the location was a little challenging with the given instructions. I should have just put the address into Google maps.
Kimono- make your own
This was a fun experience. We got to make our own kimono we can take home. The young woman helping us was so kind. There were plenty of kimono options. They do have some that are free with the experience and others that are extra depending on the material and style. We learned about the formal, semi formal, and everyday styles, plus young and older style depending on sleeve length. An absolute must do.
