Your adventure begins with slipping into the traditional samurai attire, the hakama. This essential step is more than a simple change of clothes, as it signifies your transition from the modern world into the realm of the samurai.

2. Understanding Iaido

Once dressed the part, you'll listen to a comprehensive explanation of what Iaido truly is. Master Takeda, aided by a seasoned instructor, will introduce you to the philosophical underpinnings and historical significance of this martial art.

3. Overview of the Experience

Next, we'll provide an overview of the experience you're about to undertake. Here, you'll learn how to handle the imitation katana safely, understand the correct ways to draw and sheath the sword, and the basic patterns to follow. 4. The Art of Tameshigiri

Following the instructions, you'll try your hand at 'tameshigiri' – the samurai practice of testing their sword by actually cutting something. Under the careful guidance of our experts, you'll feel the exhilarating rush that comes from executing a successful tameshigiri.
