The tour begins in the morning with a comfortable bus departure from Takayama Nohi Bus Center. After leaving the city, enjoy scenic views of the countryside as you travel toward the mountain villages.

Your first stop is Gokayama Ainokura, a World Heritage village known for its peaceful setting and well-preserved gassho-style houses. You will have free time to stroll through the village, take photos, and enjoy the quiet rural atmosphere at your own pace.

Next, the tour continues to Shirakawa-go, one of Japan’s most famous historic villages. You can walk around the village streets and also visit the Gassho-Zukuri Minkaen, an open-air museum where traditional farmhouses are carefully preserved. This longer stop allows time for sightseeing, exploration, and a break for lunch on your own.

After exploring the village, the bus takes you to the Shiroyama Castle Tower Observatory. From here, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Shirakawa-go and the surrounding mountains, offering a great photo opportunity.

In the afternoon, the tour returns to Takayama Nohi Bus Center, bringing the day’s sightseeing to a relaxed close.
