This place is under rated. Although at first sight the blooms seem smaller and less impressive than other farms, as one strolls along, you notice the fields are expansive, the walkways are spacious, and the flowers are neatly planted in long curving rows, and very pretty and multi-coloured. Sat on top of a hill, there is a beautiful backdrop of rolling patchwork hills, low buildings, and mountains and clouds, that I daresay is unbeatable among the flower farms nearby. There are no crowds or tour buses. The farm house is an old fashioned building with canteen-style tables and a retro feel. Cheap and juicy chilled melon slices at only 450¥, I ate two. There were couples on wedding photo shoots and people who brought their dogs, which made the place feel less touristic.
Came in late september, still has some nice flowers but I can see about >50% of the fields are now past their prime. Still quite nice to walk around, small one story observatory. Small nice shop to purchase anything if needed.
Sad, but flowers not in bloom. However, due to elevation, the views of the surrounding areas are breathtaking.
Nice farm that you can visit to look at the flowers. Their premise is quite big so, it's a nice walk in the summer. The flowers will only bloom in jul so, we were too early when we visited in may. There is a restaurant on site so, you can buy some food if you're hungry.
