Hakusan Island, Tsuruoka

Travelers arriving by public transport should take the Shonai Kotsu bus bound for Atsumi Onsen from JR Tsuruoka Station, alighting at Yura Post Office bus stop after approximately 45 minutes. The island is then a 3-minute walk from the bus stop. The bus fare from Tsuruoka Station costs 820 yen. Those driving can reach the destination via National Route 7 from Tsuruoka IC on the Yamagata Expressway, covering roughly 12 kilometers in 20 minutes.
