I came here at June 18th and many kinds of hydrangeas were blooming. It became crowded at about 9h30. The ground was a little steep and slippery so remember to wear soft-soled shoes. I think the hydrangeas would be more beautiful in rainy or cloudy days.
We went in June to see the hydrangea flowers. It was a magical world of hydrangeas in the middle of nowhere, far from all distractions. The variety of flowers was amazing. A must visit place if you are a hydrangea fan.
Highly recommend if you have a car. Half a day trip from anywhere in Tokyo, good atmosphere and landscape. They also sell high quality melons, watermelon, onions, and other fruits/veggies. Try the melon cuts!
Very lovely staff, beautiful farm. Great snacks like watermelon cut fresh and absolutely delicious. Worth the drive from Tokyo. It was gorgeous
