The food was a bit pricey, but delicious. Heidee has some excellent wine, too. Their staff was really helpful and nice, and the tour was informative. The best feature of the winery is really its location. The restaurant offers sweeping views of the ocean while you eat, and the interior is spacious and cozy. The biggest con of this winery is the access to it. You can either drive, which isn't too bad, but then you can't drink. Your other option is taking a taxi from Anamizu station, but that's expensive at about ¥8000 each way. If you like wineries though, this one is worth a visit!

My husband and I visited here while on a trip to Noto. We were shown around the vineyards and winery, and while enjoying some delicious wine grape juice (since we're drivers...), we were given a humorous explanation of the process from grape cultivation to harvesting, fermentation and bottling in front of the actual equipment. Apparently, the most important process is pruning. The village at the foot of the mountain suffered major damage from ground uplift in the 2024 earthquake, and the shop and restaurant here were also completely destroyed, but the winery staff taught us a lot in a positive way, which actually gave us courage. We want to continue supporting them.

Wajima is a new winery located in Monzen. While it's not as well-known as Noto Wine, the attention to detail in every aspect of the setting gives it a sense of luxury. The restaurant's prices are quite reasonable, starting from 1,200 yen for lunch (lunch is served until 2 pm). The menu seems designed to pair well with wine, but a few more unique local appetizers would likely appeal to wine lovers. Since I drove here, it's a shame I can't drink wine here, but I'll take some home as a souvenir to enjoy at my leisure. Next time, I'd like to tour the inside of the winery.

This wonderful place was the realization of the owner's wish to recreate the scenery of a French winery. It was a truly French and pleasant location. The sea stretched out before us, and the vineyards were just up the mountain from there. We enjoyed wine and cheese at the restaurant and also had a tour of the winery. I was deeply moved to hear stories about the winery's early days. I recommend making a reservation. They also offer a service that allows you to purchase wine on a regular basis, so if you're interested after visiting, that's a great option. I've heard that they're currently considering building accommodation there, so I hope to return. Thank you!
