Absolutely gem of a temple which we took a day trip out from Kanazawa to see. It’s large enough with many paths that it could easily take a whole day to tour. Staff is super pleasant and ground is immaculately kept. There are so many well preserved statue and pagodas including a really unique section with Buddha residing in carve outs into the mountain rock formation that is truly memorable. Would recommend for people if they want a zen trip out here for a day to relax.
I visited this temple end of June on a weekend morning. Took uber from Kaga station, overall convenient and worth going! Well maintained garden and beautiful trees
This place is amazingly beautiful & feel surreal. You won't be disappointed when visiting this place, especially in autumn season. The garden is beautiful with moss covered the ground. The temple is beautiful too.
One of the best autumn spot to see in Hokuriku Area.
A well preserved temple with moss that looks like carpet around the whole area. A peaceful place to rejuvenate your soul.
This is an amazing place. It’s spectacular and tranquil at the same time. I highly recommend that you take time out of your schedule to visit this temple and it surrounds. You will not be disappointed. We went mid-week in the morning and it was not crowded, but based on the size of the car park, you might imagine that it can get rather busy.
