Amazing variety of roses that I had never seen before. Some of them smelled incredible, like perfume. It is family, elderly, and handicap friendly. There are small tables and seats all around to sit and relax to enjoy the roses. I would love to come back again. The dessert is also delicious!
If you wanna see some god damn beautiful roses then this is the damn place to be. The location of the rose garden is kinda weird because it’s literally beside manufacturing factories but the place is beautiful. Lots of variations of roses and other flowers are in this place.
Perfect for photo sessions or just a relaxing tea session in their garden.
Make sure to try their drinks and sweets, it was excellent.
i visit the place yearly with friends, and buy rose plant too. Tomorrow i will visit again with friends.
Visited on May 31, 2026. The entrance fee was ¥700. The receptionist asked if it was alright that the roses had started blooming earlier this year due to the intense heat, and that some petals had fallen due to rain. I replied that it was fine since we're dealing with nature, and entered. A sign in the garden indicated that the best time to see the roses in spring is from mid-May to mid-June. While it was still May, there were some brown flowers and petals on the ground, but I didn't think the condition of the flowers was as bad as the sign suggested. In fact, the sun was so intense that day that it's no wonder the flowers were wilting...
The garden is small enough that 20 minutes is enough time to just look around, but the combination of roses with animal sculptures and angel sculptures (?) makes it easy for photography enthusiasts to stay more than twice as long! You can enjoy seeing many different varieties of roses, but since roses have thorns, it's necessary to prune them appropriately so they don't overhang the paths and injure tourists. I thought the maintenance must be quite a lot of work for the staff (they were doing maintenance all over the place on the day I visited).
For those going by public transport, the official website says it's a 12-minute walk from JR Nifuno Station. There doesn't seem to be any rental bicycle service, and even for a slow walker like me, it's definitely a walkable distance, taking less than 15 minutes.
Regarding the restrooms, the men's restroom at JR Nifuno Station has one urinal and one Japanese-style toilet, while the restrooms inside the rose garden building have two urinals and one Western-style toilet, as well as a restroom for people with disabilities. Paper towels are also provided, so the restrooms in the garden seem easy to use.
You can enjoy various kinds of roses. It's also fun to eat meals and ice cream, and buy souvenirs.
On the other hand, the pathways are narrow. Wheelchairs and strollers have limited access. Also, the parking area is gravel, making it difficult to push a cart. The parking lot is large, and I've never had trouble finding a parking spot on a weekday.
Dogs are allowed (free of charge).
