if you are in a hurry and purposively visiting kawaguchiko for a short time to have a mount fuji view, dont do it. early morning and afternoon mostly offers fujisan view. other than this either you will experience plenty of clouds blocking clear view of mt fuji, or a dispointing light rain to spoil your whole plan. dedicate a full day to enjoy fuji view.
A gorgeous little hall, we absolutely love playing at this place and the staff there are so helpful and lovely, the piano is perfect, and it's set in front of mount fuji and lake Kawaguchi. The stone walls, wood flooring and domed roof make for a nice ambience that brings out details in, and enriches, the sound.
Good view at Fuji San! Especially then good whether!
I visited on April 8th. The weather was great, and with the majestic Mt. Fuji in the background against a backdrop of cherry blossoms in full bloom, I was able to enjoy a truly magnificent view that was the epitome of Japan! I recommend going as early as possible in the morning during this time of year when the weather is nice.
I took a stroll around the area.
I didn't go inside the hall.
Mount Fuji looks beautiful from the lakeside.
There was an event going on at the time, and it was autumn leaf-viewing season, so it was quite crowded.
I added an image of Mount Fuji on a sunny day later.
The scenery with clouds is nice, but Mount Fuji is truly beautiful on a sunny day.
