This spot is the old rail track that not used anymore. The rail is pretty long with full of cherry blossoms. It’s gorgeous! We were staying in the hotel nearby and walk to the track by google map on April 1. It started crowded even at 7 am, so must go early otherwise too hard to taking photos!
Prettiest place when it’s cherry blossom season!!! 🥰🌸🌸🌸 Quite an experience walking down the railway train path while admiring the blossoms. Right opposite where I stayed — Westin hotel, which made it really convenient to go :)
Constantly crowded, tho what can you expect really 🤣🌸
Not sure if the Sakura has fully bloom or withering. The flowers is not as great compared. If you are shortage of time, can give this place a missed.
Whether you visit at sunrise with golden light filtering through the blossoms or in the afternoon when the pathway is lively and vibrant, Keage Incline offers a moment to pause, breathe, and take in one of Kyoto’s most enchanting seasonal views 🌸
Right next to the Kyoto City zoo, near the entrance/exit, there are stairs to get under the bridge and to the incline. Popular for cherry blossom season, at fall it is also a great place for girls photoshoots.
