3年連続で訪れる予定で、今年が初の参拝です。平日に海上タクシーで来ましたが、人がほとんどいなくてゆっくり参拝できました。船着き場から車で送迎してくださった方もすごく丁寧で、分かりやすく案内してくださってありがたかったです。

12年に一度の巳年の大祭が今月いっぱいの為東京から日帰りで行きました、女川港から、大祭の為船の臨時便があるのを聞いて予約しました。満席でした。外海のためかなり揺れ、40分ほどで島に到着。神の使いという鹿があちこちでのんびりしています。本殿まではゆるやかな斜面を歩いて登ること15分程度。裏参道は道が舗装され歩きやすい。海を眺めながら本殿をお参り、銭洗いや弁天神社を全てゆっくりまわり約２時間程度。うどん、そばなど軽食がとれる休憩所がありますが、私は女川駅ちかのお店で海鮮丼を購入した為港のそばの休憩所(新しくトイレも綺麗です)で腹ごしらえしてのぼりました。自然ゆたかな小さな島、霊場です。行くまでが大変でしたが、行ってよかった。ちなみに先月は鮎川港から行く予定が船が欠航で行けず、再チャレでした。船は運航を事前に要確認のうえ予約がオススメです。

船のみアクセス可能。鮎川港から向かいましたが、整理券を配って乗船コントロールをすることもあるようです。島に着いてからは結構な坂道を20分前後登りまが、港から参集殿まで有料で車で送り迎えしてもらえるようです。『三年続けてお参りすれば…』との言い伝えのある神社。自分が住んでいるところからは気軽に行ける所ではありませんが、ぜひ続けてお参りに伺いたいと思います。

12年に一度の巳年の大祭・・・全く頭になかったのですが、昨年来た時よりも全体的に賑やかでした。参拝されている方も多い印象でした。私は3年連続で参拝すると一生お金には困らないという迷信を信じて昨年に続き参拝しました。金華山に向かうフェリーは女川と鮎川からそれぞれ出ていますが、波浪だと欠航するのでご注意ください。私は欠航で滞在予定を1日延長して参拝しました。社務所が大きく、休憩所があります。お茶をいただくこともできますし、お土産を買うこともできますが、私が行ったときはお土産はやや品切れしているものが多かったです。弁財天がいらっしゃり、お金を洗える場所がありますので、小銭をたくさん持っていくと良いです。お札を洗っている人がいましたが、ベタベタになるのでやめたほうがいいです。
