I took the Concerto Cruise in Kobe on January 2, 2026.
Booking was done directly through the cruise’s official website. The reservation process was smooth and user-friendly. After booking, a confirmation email with a QR code was sent, which you simply present when boarding at Harborland, Kobe. The location is easy to reach—just get off at Kobe Station and follow the clear signs to Harborland and Concerto.
The cruise offers several sailings: afternoon, early evening, and evening. You can choose a simple sightseeing cruise with tea or drinks, or opt for a full dinner cruise. Meal prices range from around JPY 3,000 to over JPY 20,000, excluding beverages.
I chose the early evening cruise with the Kobe beef course (over JPY 20,000). Honestly, I would recommend taking the cruise without dinner. The food was underwhelming for the price, and beverages were extremely expensive—on par with five- or even six-star hotel pricing.
That said, there are limited options if you want to enjoy a relaxing cruise around Kobe Bay, and Concerto remains one of the best available choices for this experience.
Had teppanyaki course (5pm session).
Food: it was my first time trying Kobe beef and it was melting.
Service: they didn’t bring the ordered drinks, until they were reminded. The drinks menu is overpriced.
Atmosphere: the chef cooked and served within 30 min, after that he leaves. There was no live music, no additional entertainment, unfortunately.
You can board the ship without ordering the food here. Free view on third floor outside deck and inside cafe aquamarine (you can sit down without ordering the food or drink).
Beside that on first floor on lobby behind piano is also free view.
There is also music and song perfomed by local musician inside the ship
View is ok at night if you want romantic experience but in my opinion if you want to aee scenery better at day. Great experience and view for 2 hours long. Very recommended.
A cruise to see beautiful Kobe. We went for the tea cruise and it was amazing. The tart served was delicious. The view from the cruise is breathtaking.
We were lucky to get inside the cockpit and learn about the ship control. The staffs are very polite.
I think the Kobe concerto cruise is a very good deal! You get beautiful view, elegant dining area, a little concert and a yummy cake all for 4200yen.
