What other travelers are saying about Nokonoshima Island Park

Truly a beautiful island park! When we went it was so quiet and peaceful! The flowers were also blooming even in winter! It felt so surreal to see such pretty colours in winter and made me feel so happy! The views from there were also super pretty and a must do! I can see it being an amazing camping spot for a weekend getaway!

We went on winter so there's only 4 types of flowers and most of the stores are closed but with less tourist we are able to enjoy and take more photos!
We visited mid November. About half the park was blooming, still enough to capture our hearts.
Do not visit here during early September, there is nothing worth seeing here. All of the indoor activities were closed. The zoo had barely any animals. The heat was unbearable to do any outdoor activities. Barely any flowers were in full bloom. The famous field was barren.

Beautiful fields of flowers and many great photo opportunities to be had here. Many excellent viewpoints around the park as well, especially overlooking the sea. The ticket price is a bit steep at 1500 yen, but the overall experience makes up for it. There is a regular bus service to and fro from the Nkko Island ferry terminal.
