Oishi Park, Kawaguchi Lake is a very beautiful park and one of the best places to see Mount Fuji clearly. On a good day, the Fuji view from here is really amazing and very close. Even without Mount Fuji view, this park is still very beautiful. There are many flowers and plants, depending on the season, so it’s nice just to walk around and enjoy the colors and nature. There are also some restaurants and cafes in the park area, so you can sit, eat, or drink while enjoying the view. Quite relaxing. I really recommend coming here for sunrise. Mount Fuji looks very beautiful with the orange sunshine, the atmosphere feels calm and special. Early morning, cold a bit, but totally worth it. If you visit Kawaguchi Lake, Oishi Park is a place you should not miss.

One of the Most Breathtaking Views of Mt. Fuji! A Must-Visit in Kawaguchiko! Oishi Park is truly one of the most stunning and peaceful places I have ever visited. Located along the shores of Lake Kawaguchiko, the park offers a perfect, postcard-worthy view of Mt. Fuji—so clear and majestic that it almost feels unreal. The combination of the lake, seasonal flowers, and Fuji in the background creates scenery that changes beautifully throughout the year. Whether it’s the vibrant lavender fields in summer, the bright kochia bushes in autumn, or the crisp, clear winter views, every season has its own magic here. The park is clean, spacious, and extremely well-maintained. Walking through the flower-lined paths is relaxing and perfect for photography lovers. It’s one of those rare places where you can simply sit, breathe, and enjoy nature without any rush. What I loved most is how accessible and visitor-friendly it is—plenty of benches, cute cafés and souvenir shops nearby, and wide-open spaces to explore at your own pace. If you’re visiting Kawaguchiko, Oishi Park is absolutely a must-visit location. The view of Mt. Fuji from here is one of the best you’ll ever see, and the entire atmosphere is peaceful, refreshing, and unforgettable. I left with so many beautiful photos and an even more beautiful memory.

📍 Oishi Park 大石公園 @ Kawaguchiko, Yamanashi 🇯🇵 We first visited Oishi Park (大石公園) on 18 November 2025 around 4:15pm. The sunset light over Lake Kawaguchi was warm and gentle, although a cloud covered the top of Mount Fuji 🗻. The lower half of Fuji was still visible, giving the scene a soft, dramatic mood. The lakeside walkway, flower beds, and open viewing area made it a peaceful place to unwind before evening. The free parking beside the park is very convenient, and it’s only a short stroll to the lake viewpoint, café, and small shops. On the second day in the morning, we visited Oishi Park again — and this time, the weather was clear enough that we finally captured Mount Fuji in full view. The crisp morning air, calm lake surface, and bright natural light created the perfect scene. Seeing Fuji clearly after the previous day’s cloud cover made the moment extra special. A relaxing lakeside park with stunning Fuji views — beautiful during sunset, and absolutely rewarding when Fuji appears clearly on a bright morning. 🗻🌅✨
