I’m a huge Pokemon fan and have been since the games came out when I was a kid, so I HAD to try and get into this cafe. The reservations are notoriously hard to get. You absolutely MUST be awake at the exact moment 1 month before the date you wanna visit. This meant I had to wake up at 3am to get onto my computer to attempt the reservation. We failed and tried again the next night and got in. The effort was worth it though for me. Everything in the cafe is so perfectly themed. I was prepared for the food to be just ok, but it was actually quite good. Pikachu comes out during the meal and does some cute dancing and audience interaction. There’s a lot of exclusive merch available at the shop, including some of the dishware they use. If you’re a big Pokemon fan, it’s worth the effort of getting the reservation here.

Pikachu the best chef! We had such a great time at Pokemon cafe! The staff were super friendly, and the ambiance/ decor is so cute! The food is presented in a very unique way (so cute!!!) and tasted amazing too. At the end chef Pikachu came out and gave us a very cute performance which was so fun! There is also a small shop where you can buy merch which we took advantage of. A very special and unique restaurant in Tokyo, worth the visit!

This Pokémon Café was such a vibe! We visited the Pokémon Centre in the evening, and when we came out, we noticed there was no queue at the café, so we decided to try our luck. We were seated straight away! The table mats are free for guests to take home, which was lovely!. I was worried my Eevee milk tea would be too sweet, but it was surprisingly tasty and perfectly "not-too-sweet"! The Pikachu parfait was also really good. We even got a Pokémon 30th anniversary sticker! Overall, a really fun experience.

My best advice first: Do not try to pre-book your reservation weeks before online, it’s almost impossible to get seats as it’s booked out in seconds. Better check for slots online when being in Tokyo, just a few days before or on the same day. You will have better chances then, because people cancel at short notice or the Cafés free up tables if people do not appear for their reserved slots. It’s a nice trip back into childhood for those who grew up with Pokémon. Sometimes there is a little dance show of Pikachu and people are animated to clap and join in which is a nice add-on and does not feel uncomfortable. The food overall is okayish. I would say you do not go here for the best food, but for the overall experience. To me, it was worth to visit, at least once.

Great experience for the kids! We booked ahead so no wait! As there were people lined up way before the scheduled time, Recommend doing that since it sells out fast . Very fun and lots to look at and made you feel like a kid again. Had an area to buy souvenirs before leaving, prices for souvenirs were very high. The only Pokemon who came out was Pikachu , thought we were going to get more 😩. Great service and fun staff. Food was BELOW par, very bland and tasteless and for the price YIKES 😳 was expecting much better than that. I wouldn’t do it again kind of a 1 and done thing in my opinion. Kids had fun though.
