What other travelers are saying about Sapporo Kokusai Ski Resort
This was a wonderful day of powder skiing especially well pitched for my ability - it is 30 years since I last went skiing. The runs seemed to be for the intermediate skier, and the kids had a great 2 hour lesson on the nearby slopes. The scenery was a gorgeous distraction for the times I needed to rest the legs on the way down. Lift prices seemed reasonable - 6000JPY for a full day pass. The only disappointment was the lack of food options to refuel hungry stomachs.
Came here during autumn! The fall colours were beautiful and it’s a nice ride up for 1500yen. good pit stop for road trips - there were food options but we didn’t eat here. It was a convenient 30mins drive from otaru, we stopped by here before driving another 30mins to jozankei onsen.
We went during the autumn foliage season and it was lovely! Weather was perfect and the ski lift ride provides a wonderful experience of viewing the autumn leaves. The only thing they have to improve is the quality of the food in the cafeteria. The curry rice portion is tiny and overall food quality can be improved a lot.
