Came in the summer when it wasnt pink moss season. Was a nice hillside park with views of the city. Otherwise was a deserted place. Toilet was still open though!

Beautiful place, timing was not good. Visited last week of May 2024. It was cold and windy, but the skies weren't helping with the photos. It was generally cloudy over breakfast to lunch time. Great place, but uphill.
Went during the last legs of the shibazaks first week of June and the explosion of colors were still very present. 500 yen entry. Some bald patches here and there, but it didn’t take away from the whole experience! Try the ice cream :) It was raining a lot too when I went, but I still liked it! Also, a cool tip is to drive up the shrine on the mountain on the other side of the bridge to see the full panoramic view of the flowers from afar.
Lots of shibazakura blooming during May period. Love it. Windy but not too sunny. You can have a driven shuttle car to go around the park for few minutes by paying 500¥/pax.
