Great! Let me revise that for you:
I’m currently staying at this charming, traditional ryokan in Hakone, just a 10–12 minute walk from Yumoto station. The hotel is facing a beautiful lake, and I have a fantastic view of the lake and a lovely bridge crossing it. The ryokan has a classic feel, offering traditional breakfast and dinner served right in your room. The staff are always smiling, super helpful, and there are even English-speaking staff, which is a big plus. My room is spacious, facing the lake—it’s a bit dated but very clean and comfortable. I also want to give a special shout-out to Honey, who provided outstanding service. She spoke perfect English, was always on time, and took great care of us during both breakfast and dinner. Plus, the hotel’s private onsen (just 3,000 yen) is absolutely worth it. It’s on the other side of the lake, but the experience is really relaxing and well worth the money. I highly recommend this hotel, especially because of Honey’s excellent care!
We had a wonderful 2 days. It was excellent with the private onsen and all the other facilities. The lady who especially took care of us was amazing. Her attention to us during breakfast and dinner, as well as the room service, was wonderful. If you want to experience and understand Japanese culture more closely, this hotel and its staff are the right choice.
This Ryokan is amazing! Beautiful views of a river, amazing friendly staff, incredible food and lovely onsens! Some of the staff was fluent in English and others knew enough words that we never struggled to communicate.
Highly recommend staying here!!
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Shiunso. The meals were incredible and both private onsens, as well as the private bath in our room, were amazing. All staff were kind and helpful. We left feeling very restored and relaxed. Highly recommended!
We had a room with a private onsen which was beautiful and overlooked the river. It was so lovely to hear the water rushing and all the nature sounds. We had dinner and breakfast included, traditional multi course Japanese meals.
