Absolutely one of the best views in Tokyo. We arrived before sunset, grabbed a drink, and watched the entire city slowly transform from daylight into a sea of lights. The atmosphere up there is incredible - calm, modern, and surprisingly relaxing despite being in one of the biggest cities in the world.
Seeing the sunset over Tokyo from Sunshine 60 Observatory felt unreal. During golden hour the skyline looked cinematic, and once night fell the city turned into a full cyberpunk dream with endless neon lights everywhere.
The observation deck is clean, spacious, and perfect for photos or just sitting down and enjoying the moment. We honestly liked this experience even more than some of the more famous viewpoints in Tokyo because it feels less chaotic and more immersive.
Highly recommend arriving 1-2 hours before sunset and staying after dark. Watching Tokyo change from day to night from this height is something special. 🍸🌇✨
Hidden gem view point really, so much cheaper and quieter than the others. View was good, saw fuji and would be good for sunset if weather permits.
Nice environment up their too with seats and benches, plus a decent cafe selling cakes, beer and hot food. Only downside is all the decorations causing reflections in photos.
Worth a visit if your in there area, even worth the short journey from shinjku or shibuya on the train.
Great place to go to see some city views. It's not as incredible as an open air rooftop spot but it's very high and somewhat of a hidden gem if you might call it that. Costs a bit to get in but not too bad.
It's awesome that you can see all around the building, however for taking pics, only part it is kept dark enough to avoid glass reflections.
It’s a great place to get views of the sprawling cityscape of Tokyo. We went on a weekday just before nightfall and there wasn’t any queue and it wasn’t terribly expensive. All the windows on the floor are available to look out from, there isn’t any obstacle, there were a lot of places to view the skyline. There’s a cafe, benches you can rest and a lounge area with faux grass that you can lie down on. If you’re lucky, there might even be a theme event, the time we visited Oct ‘25, there was a Demon Slayer collab event.
It's raining but I went anyway. The view is wonderful, even with fog. It would probably be good at night.
It seems like a lot of small children go here so it's not very peaceful. It was loud. The cafe is okay.
