A great temple to visit when in Yanaka area. The temple is near Yanaka Cemetery. The place was well maintained & it looks really nice inside. You will also see a Copper Seating Figure of Buddha inside which was created in year 1690.
Stumbled upon Tennoji Temple while making our way to Yanaka Ginza (went the wrong way). The grounds are beautifully maintained, and we were fortunate enough to see the cherry blossom in bloom.
Visited during an exhibition about the development of kanji. The artists were all there and very welcoming explaining there work to us! Would recommend going if you are in yanaka!

We came across this place during our morning walk. Only a few people came to pray before working. The design of the shrine is nice even though there aren't many flowers in the winter. While it's probably not worth a special visit here, you should check it out if you are in the neighborhood.
