What other travelers are saying about Tokyo Disneyland
Fantastic site facilities, the rides, shows and parades are wonderful. We had a great moment as the people wasn't many on the day. Lucky enough to meet cloudy day but you do need to prepare portable fan and drying cloths in summer time.
Please plan enough, and download the official app before entry to the park. Most of the main rides, even including shows need a long time to wait, unless you paid or book in advance. If you consider walk-in, you might lost a lot of rides and shows.
One of the most beautiful days our kids have ever experienced. The park offered a wonderful range of rides and attractions with minimal waiting times, and there were plenty of dining and shopping options available.
The light show was spectacular, especially with the addition of impressive fire displays.
However, more shaded areas would be appreciated during the summer months—not only for sun protection but also as shelter during rain. The park would also benefit from a greater number of vending machines with more variety.
A major concern was the smoking areas. Some parents were smoking indoors with their children present, which was disappointing. At the very least, there should be designated outdoor smoking areas to ensure children are not exposed to secondhand smoke.
Walking into Tokyo Disneyland felt like stepping into my childhood dream. Growing up with Disney, this place brought everything to life — the music, the characters, the castles — it’s all here and even more magical in person.
Every corner is stunning, the rides are so well done, and there’s something for everyone — whether you’re chasing thrills or just soaking in the fairy-tale vibes. I genuinely felt like I was feeding my inner child, and she’s very full and happy.
🎟 Pro tip: Download the app ahead of time for ride wait times and restaurant bookings. Come early, stay late — it’s worth every second.
5/5 – Pure magic. A must if you love Disney (or used to).
I visited Tokyo Disneyland in May 2024, and it truly felt like stepping into a dream. From the moment I entered, everything was filled with joy, color, and magic. The attention to detail in every corner of the park was amazing, every ride, building, and even snack felt like part of a fairy tale.
The parades and shows were full of energy and beautifully done, and I was so impressed by how friendly and cheerful all the staff were. Their kindness and enthusiasm added so much to the overall experience.
The rides were fun for all ages, classics like It’s a Small World and Pirates of the Caribbean were full of charm, and the newer attractions were exciting and well-designed. The park was clean, well-organized, and surprisingly easy to get around, even with the crowds.
It was a day full of laughter, wonder, and unforgettable moments. Tokyo Disneyland truly lives up to its reputation, it’s not just for kids, it’s for anyone who still believes in a little magic.
It’s a bigger park than Tokyo DisneySea. So there’s much more to do. The “it’s a small world” boat ride is also much better than the one at Disneyland California as there are Disney characters involved in the ride. I also really enjoyed that there are baby centers around the park for parents to utilize. In the baby centers there is a nursing room area, diaper changing station, a gift shop for diapers and wipes, and kitchen area with high chairs. The meals they offer here also come with souvenir kids plates to take home.
