What other travelers are saying about Tokyo Joypolis
My family and I had a great time at the indoor amusement park! There was plenty to do, and the wait times were very reasonable. The third-floor café had an incredible view and was a perfect break spot.
I definitely recommend buying tickets on Klook right now. It’s buy one all-day pass, get one free!

Got in for free on my birthday and stayed between 11:30-18:10 and was able to play almost all the games. Not crowded in the morning until around 14:00 and I was able to get in quickly. The graphics of some games were a bit 2000s and not the most modern, but I kinda found that retro feel endearing.
Must-play games in my opinion:
1F
Gekion: 4/5 A short roller coaster and the leading up was a bit long, but not bad for an indoor ride.
Half pipe: 5/5 My 1000% favorite game of the whole park. Ridiculously fun. I didn’t know how to spin on my first ride and was just swinging sideways like a pendulum so I rode it 2 more times as a revenge.
2F
Transformers: 5/5 spinning 360° and shooting.
Storm G: 5/5 very fun, also spinning 360° as a ski racer!!!
3F
Fortune forest: 4/5 pretty accurate guesses! I did this twice!
Murder lodge: 4.5/5 very real and loud audio!
Wild wing: 5/5 loved this so much
Wild jungle: 4/5
Wild river: 5/5 so fun!!!!
Sadako: 4/5 get inside a scary box for 2 mins
Lola and Carla the Beauty Contest: 5/5 got to figure out my feminine appeal as a hostess
My son loved this place. He's 7 and around 120cm tall so some of the more exciting rides which require 130cm height were not possible for him. Glad we came here cos that day was rainy and this place is definitely a great way to have fun on a rainy day. Bought my tix on klook and they were having a 1-1 promo so good deal o would say.
Visited on a weekday and wasn’t overly busy, so would recommend trying to visit during downtime for shorter queue times.
The rides are cheap and very easy to top up your ticket on the machines or at the counter.
For tourists visiting I would say some of the attractions are just in Japanese so the story aspect doesn’t come across too well. However there’s arcade machines and the roller coaster so it’s still worth a visit.
It's a rather nice in door amusement park, with a decent amount of rides, claw machines and two cafes in it from my experience. I'd recommend getting the passport ticket, it costs a bit more, but it allows you to exit and re enter the Joypolis, which is rather good if you want to go do other things like have a look in the nearby shops or go out for food.
