What other travelers are saying about Toyo Ito Architectural Museum, Imabari
Small exhibition space and quite expensive for the limited amount on offer. Beautiful location and probably worth the trip if architecture is your passion.
I love architecture, so I cycled especially to see it. This museum is a joke: three tiny rooms, very little in English and very little architecture. One feels Mr. Ito received some tax incentives to build this place. Totally soulless. I would be ashamed to have my name on this building.

The structure is really interesting, and the location with beautiful views of the sea and the neighboring Islands is breathtaking.
However, calling this place a "museum of architecture" is somewhat misleading, as the exhibition inside is exclusively focused on the local culture and life on the island. Still interesting but not what I came for.
