A big park with skate park and a fountain. Had a great time viewing the Cherry Blossoms Trees while eating with a friend. It's kinda peaceful even though there were lots of people that day.
A great spot for cherry blossom viewing. We make a point of visiting every time we’re in Sendai in April, and it’s always absolutely stunning. The park is spacious, though it does get quite busy during hanami season.
There are plenty of food stalls and a really nice atmosphere with locals enjoying the sakura. Parking can be a bit tricky at times, so worth planning ahead.
Tsutsujigaoka Park, located in Sendai, is a peaceful urban oasis known for its seasonal beauty and family-friendly atmosphere. The park is especially famous for its cherry blossoms in spring, attracting many visitors who come to enjoy hanami under the blooming sakura trees. The wide paths lined with cherry trees create a tunnel of blossoms that's truly magical during peak bloom.
The park is clean, safe, and well-maintained, making it ideal for families, couples, and solo travelers alike. It’s easily accessible from Tsutsujigaoka Station, making it a convenient escape from the city bustle.
Located on the east side of Sendai Station, Tsutsujigaoka Park is a convenient spot for locals. Within a 15-minute walk from the station, it offers a spacious area where people can unwind and relax. While not overly fancy, this local park provides a decent environment.
This place is perfect to go as family or friends. And i think you can make this place your perfect dry picnic spot. It’s wide and pretty all the way.
