Had a nice swim with the beach to ourselves and trek up mountain,no tourists until we reached the cable cart on the way down.Plenty of deer roaming around, great views and photo opportunities.
Its fine. The area was a bit run down and untidy. There are no attendants to the beach, even in peak season I believe. We did not go on the water as we were a bit unsure of jellyfish, which were on the shore. The water looked nice.
Pleasant walk to the beach from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist areas.
Large sandy beach. Bring water etc. There are no shops at the beach. At least not in the start of the beach.
Deserted on a weekday in May, with a possibility to shower. Consider hiking down there from the peak and then cool off in the water.
Beautiful beach, nice, clear water. Rocky sand but no water shoes needed. I went in mid to late July and technically the beach was closed and all facilities were shut down, therefore I reduced the number of stars. But a handful of people got in the water and stayed where it is shallow. The water was a comfortable temperature. Foam from the fishing boats washes up, but mostly clean otherwise. Took me about 45 minutes to walk there from the ferry port, nice easy walk.
