Imagine a fantastic stay at a luxurious hotel where your family, including the kids, is the only guest. Upon arrival, we are greeted by the warm smiles of the staff, who treat me like royalty. The lobby is adorned with elegant decor, and the air is filled with the scent of green plants.
Your family is escorted to a spacious suite, complete with breathtaking views and a cozy nook for the kids to play.
In the evenings, I gather for a private dining experience, where a gourmet chef prepares delicious meals just for my family, with special kids' menus featuring their favorite dishes.
As your stay comes to an end, I leave with cherished memories, feeling like part of an exclusive family, thanks to the exceptional service and attention to detail provided by the hotel staff, who made sure both the adults and kids had an unforgettable experience.
Stayed for 2 nights with my wife and 7 month old. By far the best onsen hotel we’ve ever visited. We’ve stayed at countless onsen hotels over the years and this one stands out for a few reasons:
- Modern: They offer digital keys via a QR code that you can use to access your room so we didn’t have to always carry another set of keys or cards. The hotel opened in 2023 so the interior and facilities are beautiful.
- Hospitality: The staff are unbelievably helpful and friendly. I believe that culture is set from the top in a business and it proves to be true here. The 社長 studied hospitality abroad in Australia for a few years and is one of the best hotel managers I’ve come across.
- Kid friendly: They offer a playroom with ample toys, books, and space for kids to enjoy themselves. Compared to options offered at some of the older and more “traditional” onsen hotels in the district, this is a welcome change!
Overall, cannot recommend this hotel enough. It’s worth the trip. We will be returning.
Definitely the nicest place I've stayed in Japan or anywhere. The staff is so incredibly nice and helpful, and many of them speak English extremely well. The facilities are beautiful, the baths were absolutely amazing. The location is great because you can walk anywhere in town and enjoy the beautiful scenery and footbaths outside. The area isn't crowded at all, it feels like a hidden gem. The rooms are totally gorgeous, I didn't want to leave when my stay was over. I can't wait to come back here in the winter.

The hotel opened 3 months ago, so very new, staff is amazing and spoke English, the manager was very helpful and gave us recommendations on local places and things to do. If you go, ask about sea fireflies experience, we all really enjoyed it.
The hotel doesn’t have many rooms, but rooms are very nice and spacious. You can reserve a room with a wooden tub in the room and there are separate onsens for male and female travelers downstairs, you can also enjoy a private onsen downstairs.
Breakfast was Japanese style and delicious. You can also book dinner, we didn’t try dinner.
They have free parking, free laundry, kids zone, the decorations are beautiful and it has a very nice relaxing atmosphere.
Right now they are harvesting Japanese pear in the area and those were delicious.
We loved it so much, we stayed an extra night.
The manager spoke very good English and extremely helpful and friendly. Was late to arrive on the first night and the manager was there to receive us and even carried our luggage to the room. He then proceed to serve us delicious dinner which you can tell took a lot of time and effort to prepare cos each dish was arranged and plated beautifully. Breakfast next day came with onsen steamed dishes. There are 3 large private onsen rooms, each with its own attached bathroom. If it is not occupied by others, just go in, lock and use it. The onsen is mild and warm, and no sulphuric smell or anything, not sure what type of onsen water or minerals it contained though. A great modern decor onsen place to stay for a few nights. Had a chat with the nice manager and the owner is the same as that of the famous Ghibli studio. We did 2 nights.
