The cast members are outstanding — friendly, polite, and genuinely committed to making every guest feel welcome. Attractions are well maintained, lines move efficiently, and the overall experience feels smooth and enjoyable despite the large crowds.

Absolutely loved Tokyo Disneyland! Many of the same rides as my beloved OG Disneyland, but also some amazing exclusives. The Winnie the Pooh and Beauty & the Beast rides are worth admission alone. The food was really good as well. Recommend the Japanese curry at Hungry Bear, the famous Mickey waffles, and the alien mochi! It was a little busy (and cold) mid January (several attractions were down for refurb), but they offer a free (Priority) or paid (Premier) ride access for many popular rides. All the cast members were extremely polite and welcoming. The parades and night show/fireworks were really good, and don't miss the party at the Baymax ride. Can't wait to go back.
Happy Happy Place. It was Minnie birthday season and boy it was a pink-filled park! The crowd in general was rather packed despite it being a weekday and an off-peak period.
Had to purchase Disney Premiere access passes to enjoy the rides we wanted to play!
The Beauty and the Beast ride is a definite must!!!!!! Get a DPA if you have to. I have not seen the queue duration fall under 100minutes but it was worth it. If you’re a fan, you will not be disappointed!
Tokyo Disneyland was such a fun day and a great experience overall. We arrived around 10am and unfortunately missed out on booking the fast pass for the Beauty and the Beast ride, which is definitely one of the most popular and highly recommended rides in the park.
We managed to book a fast pass for Star Wars, which was great, and also bought fast pass tickets for Splash Mountain. Both were really enjoyable and helped break up the day without spending too much time lining up.
For lunch, we grabbed pizza slices from one of the cafeterias and were pleasantly surprised, they were actually really good and quite filling. We did a few of the kiddy rides after that, which were perfect for the kids and a nice slower pace.
Later in the afternoon, we lined up for the Beauty and the Beast ride and waited just under two hours. Honestly, it was 100% worth it, easily one of the best rides in the park and a must-do if you’re visiting.
It was too cold for us to stand outside for the final parade at 5:50pm, but we could still see parts of it from Tomorrowland Terrace while having dinner (burgers, fries, churros, soft drinks, easy and convenient). Definitely recommend wearing layers and rugging up after 5pm as it gets very cold once the sun goes down.
Despite the crowds and the cold, it was an amazing day. Highly recommend Tokyo Disneyland, and especially the Beauty and the Beast ride, even with the long wait.
It was my first time going to a Disneyland so I didn't know much about it. But using the app was very helpful. If you want to greet characters go there early, some were for a short period of time available to visit.
I recommend you to check the time scheduled for the parades. They are really popular and people start gathering to save a spot since entering the park at 9AM. If you plan your way around, it's possible to go to most of the popular attractions. Prices at shops started around $7 to $10 USD for small items. Regarding food, there is a variety of prices. The cheapest food I bought were the green mochis for $3usd-ish.
You can easily arrive there using the metro, Google maps works wonderful.
