Please gather at the Yanesen Culture and Tourism Center fifteen minutes before our scheduled start time. This ensures that we embark on our journey to the heart of Ikebana without delay.

Introduction by the English-speaking master (10 minutes):

Prepare to be enlightened by our English-speaking Ikebana master. Beyond simply arranging flowers, Ikebana – or "living flowers," as it translates – is an ode to nature’s minimalist beauty and the charm of asymmetry. Before beginning your hands-on experience, you will enjoy a captivating narrative that covers the rich history, fundamental principles, and subtle distinctions that set Japanese floral art apart from its Western counterpart.

Floral selection (10 minutes):

This is where your personal touch comes into play. Immerse yourselves in the essential steps of Ikebana by selecting the flowers and branches that speak to you. You will be encouraged to choose up to three seasonal flowers and branches, laying the foundation for your unique creation.

Ikebana workshop: Mastery in motion (60 minutes):

With the flora you have chosen in hand, embark on a one-hour exploration into the world of Ikebana. Under the meticulous guidance of our resident expert, every placement, every twist, every nuance will transform your selection into a work of art. And as you immerse yourselves in this therapeutic session, our team will be ready to capture these moments in photos and video if you wish.

As our session comes to an end, the piece into which you have poured your soul will be yours to treasure. We encourage you to take your arrangement back to your hotel, allowing its beauty and your newfound skills to serve as a lasting reminder of your time with us.
