Yes, the class is vegan and vegetarian-friendly. The ingredients used for Nerikiri are plant-based, and matcha green tea is also suitable for vegan and vegetarian diets.
You don’t need to bring any tools or ingredients. Everything will be provided for you, including the materials for making sweets, tea utensils, and packaging to take your creations home.

What a fantastic experience. Hana was so welcoming in her beautiful home. Everything was set up for success. I created the first nerikiri with step by step modelling by Hana. The next two were designs I picked from her samples. Finally, she gave me the choice to create anything I wanted ( I preferred to again use one of her beautiful examples). She taught how to correctly make matcha… it’s not just adding matcha to hot water! 🤣
I would highly recommend this experience and am looking forward to perfecting my artistic skills.

This was a fun and unique experience, many laughs and tasty sweets. The lady who instructed us also provided great recommendations for the area. 10/10
