No prior experience is needed! This experience is designed for beginners and those who are completely new to Taiko drumming. The instructor will teach you the basics step by step, making it easy and fun for everyone.
The meeting point is at JR Takatsuki Station, the central ticket gate on the 2nd floor. It is easily accessible by train, just 15 minutes from JR Kyoto or Osaka Station. Taking public transportation is recommended, as taxis can be expensive and slow due to traffic.
Yes, observers are allowed, but they must pay 8,000 yen per person in cash at the studio. If you plan to observe, please notify us in advance to ensure transportation is arranged.
Wear comfortable clothing and shoes, as Taiko drumming involves movement and energy. You will also be provided with a Happi coat (a traditional Japanese jacket) and a Hachimaki (a headband) to wear during the session.
