Do I need prior experience to join the Taiko session?

No experience is required. The instructor will teach all participants the basic techniques step by step, making it suitable and fun for beginners.

Can observers join the tour?

Yes, non-participating observers are welcome for an additional fee, paid at the studio on the day of the tour. Notify us in advance if you will have observers.

What should I wear for the Taiko experience?

Wear comfortable clothing and shoes for movement. A traditional Happi coat and Hachimaki headband will be provided to wear during the session.

How do I get to the meeting point?

Meet at the 2nd-floor central ticket gate of JR Takatsuki Station. The guide will hold a Taiko banner. Make sure you are at the JR Takatsuki Station, not Hankyu Takatsuki Station.

Can children participate?

Children must be 7 years or older to join.

Learn Taiko Drumming

Essentials to Know Before Booking

A minimum of two participants is required for this tour.
Bookings that do not meet the minimum requirement may be canceled and fully refunded due to system restrictions.
Observers are allowed for an additional fee, payable in cash at the studio on the day of the tour.
Please notify us in advance if there will be observers so transportation can be arranged.
There are two Takatsuki stations: JR Takatsuki Station and Hankyu Takatsuki Station. The meeting point is JR Takatsuki Station.
This experience is not suitable for pregnant travelers or those with heart or back conditions.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time.
Late arrivals cannot join the experience once it has started.
The total duration is approximately two hours, including travel time.
Returning early during the experience is not recommended.
On some dates, single participants may need to book and pay for two participants.
The JR train from Osaka to Takatsuki takes about 15 minutes.
Taxis from Osaka are not recommended due to longer travel time and higher cost.
Children under 7 years old cannot participate.
