A full-day seasonal tour from Kanazawa or Toyama to the Tateyama-Kurobe Alpine Route, visiting Ashikuraji's historic shrines and the Murodo snow walls at 2,450 meters above sea level. Bus transport is included. The tour operates from May to mid-June only.

Lunch is not included. Restaurant options at Murodo are limited. Bringing a packed meal or bento purchased before departure is strongly recommended, particularly for guests with dietary restrictions.
No. The tour departs from either Kanazawa or Toyama on a given day. Confirm your departure point at the time of booking.
Warm, layered clothing and waterproof footwear with good grip are essential. Temperatures can drop below 0 degrees Celsius at Murodo. Snow and ice are present across the highland area. Sunglasses are recommended due to glare from the snowfields.
Coin lockers are available at both Kanazawa and Toyama stations. Luggage forwarding services may also be available at both stations.
The weather at this elevation can change rapidly. If conditions affect the safety of any activity, the guide will make adjustments where possible and inform guests as early as possible.
Zack and Kaori were awesome for the Tateyama snow wall tour! I really enjoyed learning about the history/cultural significance of the mountain, and being given ample amount of time to explore as well.

Fantastic Alpine Tour with Snow Monkeys
We were shown the museum and replica Shrine, and learned more about the traditions of Mt. Tateyama, wildlife and flowers. There is the 'pond', which is amazing with beautiful water colours, and of course the snow wall. Gorgeous visitas everywhere around us! We even got to see snow monkeys on the way back down. Thank you Daniel!

Awesome day tiur
Zack and Kaori were awesome for the Tateyama snow wall tour! I really enjoyed learning about the history/cultural significance of the mountain, and being given ample amount of time to explore as well.
