How long are you actually in the air?

The helicopter flight itself lasts 18 minutes. The rest of your time covers check-in, the pilot's safety briefing, boarding, and landing.

What happens before takeoff?

After check-in, the pilot gives a safety briefing that covers the flight path and emergency procedures, then you board the helicopter.

Is the flight private?

Yes. The helicopter flies with your group only, so you share the cabin with no other travelers.
