The tour begins in front of Kaminarimon Gate on the left side, near the Tokiwado Kaminari-okoshi Honpo shop in Asakusa. The nearest station is Asakusa Station. Please arrive on time as the guide cannot delay the start for late arrivals.
Azuma Bridge spans the Sumida River and offers views of Tokyo Skytree and the distinctive Asahi Beer Hall building on the opposite bank, providing a clear contrast between the historic Asakusa district and the modern Tokyo skyline.
The tour is suitable for most ages. It is not recommended for guests with back problems. Infants must not sit on laps, and infant seats are not available.
Groups are capped at a maximum of 12 participants per tour.
Educational, informative and entertaining! Hiroko was a fantastic guide!
Our guide, Hiroko was phenomenal. She was so friendly and informative throughout the tour and encouraged us to ask questions. The tour was really interesting and interesting. A must see for Tokyo and Asakusa. We had a wonderful sushi lunch afterward, at a restaurant recommended by Hiroko. The street shopping, people watching and general wandering in the area is great too.
