How do the train tickets work?

Digital Shinkansen tickets are emailed to you the day before the tour, along with the exact departure time and instructions. You board at Kyoto Station and ride to Hiroshima on your own.

Where exactly do I meet the guide?

At Hiroshima Station, take the North Exit, go down the stairs, and walk to the Shinkansenguchi Hiroba Bus Berth between Bus Stops 8 and 9. The guide is there to greet the group around 10:00.

What happens at the end of the day?

A bus brings the group from Peace Memorial Park back to Hiroshima Station around 18:00, where the tour ends. You then take the Shinkansen back to Kyoto independently and arrive around 20:00.

Are meals part of the tour?

No. Food and drinks are not included. Free time on Miyajima lets you try local favorites such as oysters and maple leaf-shaped momiji manju.

Great experience with Ito-San and Alex

I had a great experience, thanks to our guide Alex and our driver, Ito-san. Alex was knowledgeable, friendly, and made us feel comfortable and genuinely interested throughout the tour. The tour itself was very interesting and well organised. I would definitely recommend it. I also really appreciated the prompt reactions from the support team when I had some doubts about the meeting point. Everything was handled promptly with a quick answer. Overall, a great experience from start to finish!
