What is the difference between the two plans?

The Miyajima Only plan covers the ferry, a visit inside Itsukushima Shrine, and free time on the island, finishing back at Miyajimaguchi around 14:20. The Hiroshima and Miyajima plan starts at Hiroshima Station, follows the same island schedule, then spends about two hours at Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park before returning to Hiroshima Station around 18:00.

Do we go inside Itsukushima Shrine?

Yes. Admission to the shrine is included, and the group enters with the guide around midday. The torii gate only appears to float when the tide is high, so how it looks depends on the tide during your visit.

No. Food and drinks are not included. Your free time on Miyajima is a good chance to buy lunch and try island specialties such as oysters and momiji manju.

How do we get from Hiroshima to Miyajima?

On the Hiroshima and Miyajima plan, transportation from the meeting point at Hiroshima Station to the Miyajimaguchi ferry pier is included, followed by the ferry to the island. The same transport takes you from Miyajimaguchi to Peace Memorial Park in the afternoon.
