Why do I need a printed voucher?

Sengan-en asks for a printed copy of your voucher for entry, so print it before the day. Your e-voucher on a phone is fine for checking in with the guide at Kagoshima Chuo Station.

What is the shirokuma ice making experience?

Shirokuma is a shaved ice dessert from Kagoshima, and during the day you make your own. The experience fee is part of the tour, so there is nothing extra to pay for it.

How do we get around between the stops?

This is a walking tour that uses public transportation, mainly the Kagoshima City View sightseeing bus on a one-day pass. You are on foot at each site, including about 90 minutes at Sengan-en and another 90 minutes at Kagoshima Aquarium.

What will I learn at the Meiji Restoration museum?

The Kagoshima City Museum of Meiji Restoration covers the era when Kagoshima's samurai helped shape modern Japan. The tour spends about an hour there before walking on to the statue of Saigo Takamori, one of the period's central figures.
