Essentials to Know Before Booking

  • The tea harvesting experience is available annually from late May to March.

  • Booking requests should specify a preferred time within our business hours of 09:00 to 15:00.

  • The maximum number of participants allowed is 15.

  • A voucher will be emailed to you; please print it out and present it at the activity location.

  • Arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your scheduled reservation time.

  • The activity is conducted exclusively in Japanese.

  • This booking is non-refundable.

The tour requires a minimum of 3 participants to go ahead. This ensures a viable group size for an interactive and comprehensive experience.

It's recommended to wear comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for outdoor activities. Depending on the weather, you might also consider a hat and sunscreen for protection or a raincoat. All necessary harvesting equipment will be provided.

The experience is available from late May to March, capturing the prime tea harvesting seasons. The specific timing allows participants to see and engage in the most vibrant tea picking activities.

The experience is designed to last approximately 120 minutes, providing ample time for participants to learn about and actively engage in tea harvesting, as well as to enjoy a tea tasting session.

The tour is conducted in Japanese, so if you don't speak the language, please inform the tour operators at the time of booking. While the tour is designed for Japanese speakers, knowing your language abilities in advance helps the staff prepare and, if possible, make accommodations for your experience.
