Ise Jingu is a sacred Shinto shrine complex dedicated to Amaterasu Omikami, the Sun Goddess and one of Japan’s most important deities. It is considered one of the holiest sites in Japan due to its 2,000-year history, deep spiritual significance, and role in preserving Shinto traditions.
The tour includes visits to Naiku and Geku shrines, Okage Yokocho, round-trip transportation, Sengukan Museum admission, and an English-speaking guide.
There is a moderate amount of walking, including gravel paths at shrine areas.
Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring cash for meals and personal expenses.
