Fabulous tour with historical depth & introspection for the future
I was not looking for a “to the left is a statue and here’s the castle type of tour”. Our historical tour delivered the depth I was hoping for.
This was an excellent, comprehensive tour beginning with the 100+ year period leading up to World War II and how tenuous the US Japan relationship had already been.
Our tour guide Cva was fantastic teaching us about perspectives from Asian history that we did not come in knowing with our US history background. He took us to each of the major sites and shared reviting and heartbreaking facts at all of them.
