Absolutely excellent
This was the best highlight of our trip to Japan, absolutely amazing experience! The chef Seiji and his wife were welcoming, cheerful and have a great sense of humour! Under their guidance we cooked a full meal, with miso soup, steamed spinach dish, Japanese omelette, sushi and an authentic Kanazawa dish. We worked in pairs, six people, learned about Japanese food and culture, had a great laugh, and an excellent meal. Our group had a mix of people experienced in cooking and nervous young cooks, and all felt good. Highly recommend!

Incredible experience. Chef and his wife were both lovely, they had live English translation, and it was very very informative. He showed us every little step and the few parts he didn't show us (ie how he prepared the rice) were given separately in the recipes at the end. The food was also delicious, I'm pretty sure all of the ingredients were literally the best money could buy, and when I say I think this is the best cooking class you can get I mean it.
